Get away from it all
For 2023 we have moved our original Heritage Wood CL and created a brand new site which is situated outside of Heritage Wood, our sponsored woodland.
All pitches are hard standing and fully serviced with water, electricity and grey waste disposal. In the communal block, there is a single toilet available for use. Here you will also find bins and a chemical disposal point.
There are limited lights on the site making it very dark at night; giving you the rare opportunity to enjoy the dark skies away from the glare of urban lighting.
Our peaceful site offers the perfect base for exploring the Derbyshire Dales and surrounding countryside and attractions.

Friday the 10th May, 2024 the sky was filled with the northern light display.
Seeing the Northern Lights in the UK, particularly as far south as England, is very rare. Typically, the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) are visible in countries much farther north, like Norway, Iceland, or Canada. Here are three images taken by one of our guests.
